Wrapping Your Inexpensive Christmas Gifts

Most likely, whichever store you get your present from will also have everything you need to make it look presentable.  You can stick with the traditional holiday wrapping paper and bows, or use stuff around you to get creative.  Here are some ideas:

Wrap your gift with a handkerchief instead of wrapping paper, and secure it with a ribbon.

Instead of using a bow, attach a plastic tree ornament to your present.

Use Eco-friendly techniques.  Take a brown paper bag and cut out the bottom portion.  Cover your present with it, and glue colorful cutouts on it.

Put your present in a holiday stocking stuffed with tissue paper  or some other creative holiday holder.

Apply cinnamon sticks - wrap your gift in shiny red paper, tie it with green ribbon, and insert cinnamon sticks into the knots.

Make your gift look like snow - glue a bunch of cotton balls to the wrapping paper.  You can also sprinkle a little bit of glitter to make it look like sparkling snow.

Use old Christmas cards - we all have a box full of holiday cards from years past.  Take your cards and cut them in half, and use the front parts to make a collage.

Use a bag made of cloth - it would be great for any type of bottle.
